We started working with Old Bailey Solicitors, a boutique criminal law firm, in 2022. We were brought in to work with the Directors to support their strategy of marketing the team’s specialism to private clients as the bulk of their work had been through its Legal Aid contract to date.
Knowing how crucial online search is to clients looking for support and advice from legal professionals we quickly established that the current website was no longer fit for purpose and we began work on a project, working with designers, developers and SEO agency, to revitalise their digital footprint. As part of this we also developed the firm’s visual brand to modernise the logo and introduce a wider brand colour palette to increase the impact of graphics and imagery both online and offline.
The new website which launched in April 2023 has served as the cornerstone of the firm’s improved online presence, resulting in traffic increasing significantly over the last year since launch (22% increase in impressions and 25% increase in clicks).
In addition to the website project we worked closely with the wider team at Old Bailey Solicitors to develop a comprehensive content and social media strategy that positions them as thought-leaders and also supports with the Search Engine Optimisation of their website. From working with subject-matter-experts on engaging blog posts to creating impactful case studies, we have instilled a regular stream of content that not only educates the firm’s intended audience but also helps increase the website’s position in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Position). Leveraging the power of social media, we amplified their voice across various platforms, fostering meaningful connections with their audience and driving engagement.
In the competitive legal services space, referrals are invaluable. Understanding this, we also worked with the senior team to devise a targeted referrer marketing plan that strengthened the relationships the team has with key referrers – and identified opportunities for new conversations.
Our work with Old Bailey Solicitors has resulted in a year-on-year increase of 163% in the volume of incoming enquiries that the team have seen from private clients looking to engage a criminal solicitor.
